As soon as you pull down the drive to this beautiful home, you will immediately be greeted with a picturesque scene of a log cabin home tucked away into the woods. Walking inside, the home features an open concept floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and space for everyone to spend time together. Take in the views of Greers Ferry Lake just outside the floor to ceiling windows, and when the sun is setting your breath will be taken away by the amazing views. Inside the main living area, you will also see a unique tree in the corner decorated with fishing lures. These lure's were collected by the family during their many summers spent at the "Lured Away Cabin". Make your own family memories by combing the beach for treasures that have washed up on the shores of the lake.

The master bedroom is located off the living room and features an en-suite bathroom, jacuzzi tub, and a private entrance to the spacious back deck over looking Greers Ferry Lake. The second bedroom is also located on the main floor and has access to a full bathroom. Heading into the kitchen, you will find a large range, oven, and plenty of space to cook a delicious home - cooked meal . Moving upstairs, you will find two bedrooms separated by a walk-way. The first bedroom features a queen size bed with an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds, two trundle beds, and an ensuite bathroom.

Going outside, you will immediately be greeted with views of Greers Ferry Lake. Take the short walk down to the lake where you can spend all day playing in the water and soaking up the sun.

  We took our management team on a guided fishing trip. We wanted a place right on the lake so they could also fish from shore. This property was perfect for our group of eleven mostly single adults (2 couples). The property was clean in terms of a cleaning service taking care of the interior. But it was lacking in overall upkeep and maintenance. The bathroom floor rugs needed to be washed. The deck area was covered in tree pollen, bird poop & spider webs. Common issues in the woods, but part of the upkeep should include cleaning the deck before guests arrive. At 11:00pm Friday night, we discovered the hot water heater didn't work. We also had a leak from the guest shower upstairs into the master bedroom. We were unable to speak with anyone until Sat morning during our guided fishing trip. They immediately offered another property, but it wasn't favorable for our needs. Also it was storming when we returned from fishing. We were only staying until the next morning at 10:00am so we opted for no hot water vs. relocating in the storm. This is a beautiful, comfortable property right on the lake. But it appears that the real estate investment owners had not made arrangements to ensure the long-term maintenance of the home and to make sure it was in good condition to rent to guests. I expect challenges when travelling, it's a beautiful home, and we had a great trip. But I'll try not to rent from these owners again because the lack of oversight means things will continue to go wrong.

  What a nice, cozy home with a great view. The driveway and roads are extremely steep but once you get there it is worth it. None of the outlets in the upstairs bathrooms were working but overall we had a wonderful stay.

  This was a great place for our family of 10 to spend Thanksgiving. The view is fantastic. The roads getting there are a little scary, particularly after dark, but that's typical of this area of Arkansas. Our main complaint was that the large projection tv in the living area did not work. As it was Thanksgiving, we were not able to get this resolved so had to use the small tv from the bunk room. Also, the gas grill was dirty and the two propane tanks were unusable--one was empty and the other had a problem with the connection. We ended up having to buy two small charcoal grills and charcoal in order to grill our Thanksgiving dinner. Things to do maintenance wise--light bulb in lamp in the living room was burned out,door on hall bath locks but does not latch, bunk room door sticks. Overall a great experience.

  My family,7 adults and 4 children, spent 4 days and 3 night at this property. The open floor plan allowed us to all gather together. The kitchen was spacious and equipped with all the necessary essentials. Sitting on the deck was very relaxing. This is a wonderful place to unwind and connect with family. No WiFi, but we didn't miss it. We went Old School with card games, board games and Tic-Tac-Toe with the younger children. We all had a great time and agreed that we will do it again next year.

  My family and I stayed here during the holiday break and had a great time. The house is either well maintained or was recently updated. All of the paint looked new. The location can’t be beat. The house is located only a couple hundred feet from the lake and has a private walkway. While we were there it felt like we were the only ones on the lake. It was very quiet and serene.
  
  For our stay, the house was clean and tidy. I was pleasantly surprised how well stocked the house was. I was prepared with extra supplies, but found plenty of kitchen utensils, dishes, paper products, trash bags, etc. There is a garage under the house stocked with kayaks, inflatables, life jackets, and fishing gear. Outside there is a cute little playhouse for kids and several places to make a fire on a chilly night.
  
  One thing to keep in mind is that the road into and from the cabin traverses a steep mountainside, so drive slowly, especially at night.
  
  I am highly considering returning in the summer to take full advantage of the warmer weather and the lake. Would recommend.

  It was a beautiful cabin with large deck, clean path that leads down to the lake. The cabin was very spacious with four bedroom on all different sides. It was two stories and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. We never felt we were top of each other. We had our five grandsons with ours and even when they were playing it never felt to loud. The cabin was clean and well stocked. I would go back anytime

  My multigenerational family came and stayed for a quick weekend before labor day. We had a wonderful time. The place is beautiful, the little beach was charming and fun, and the deck was outstanding.
  
  It is a bit of a crazy drive to get in there, so take your time and try not to get to freaked out! Totally worth it though!

  This lake home is PERFECT. Beautifully decorated and maintained,just as pictured. The view is spectacular, location is great. There were 8 of us, we never felt crowded, each couple had their own bathroom. I would HIGHLY recommend LURED AWAY. We WILL be back.
