Our cabins are located at 76 Swinging Bridge Drive in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Located directly outside your cabin is Winkley Shoals, the largest shoal on the Little Red River. The Little Red River is among the blue-ribbon trout streams of America and takes her place alongside the White as one of the best trout waters in the South. Each Fall, fly fishermen from around the world come to this prime location to catch World Class Native Brown Trout during the Fall Spawn.

Before you head out to fish for the day, spend your morning sipping coffee on your beautiful front porch overlooking the Little Red River. That night, cook your fresh catch on the charcoal grill or enjoy dinner at local restaurants within walking distance.

Cabin Details:
This beautiful cabin sits directly on the Little Red River. It has 1 king bed, a full bathroom (tub/shower combo), a full kitchen stocked with all of the cooking necessities, and a Mr. Coffee Coffee Maker. There is a dining table for two, a covered back porch overlooking the river, and a TV + WiFi.

  Stayed in cabin 2E and it was wonderful. After having a not so good stay in a VBRO was kind of weary about staying. BUT that was most the case when we got to this location. The cabin was right on the river with a beautiful scene off of the covered porch. The cabin was very clean. Even though they had no ice maker they even put a bag of ice in the freezer for us. I am looking forward to staying here in the future.

  The location is right on the Red river and was set up nicely. The only thing I would have liked was to have the AC on before we got there. It was HOT the day we were there and it took a while to cool down the unit. After it was cooled it stayed that way and was very nice.

The property is very clean, tidy and stocked with everything a cabin would need.   We’ve stayed here 6 times. It’s a great location for a weekend get away. I think the first time we stayed was around 2016. This trip was a 2 night last minute get away. My review is: 1) It’s past time to update and time to get a new cleaning crew. The couch and chair is original and starting to smell like a boys gym bag. You can feel the hard wood in the arms and seat. They are just worn and need replacing. 2) All of the dishes in the cabinets had stuck on dried or smeared food. As if someone wiped them off and put them in the dishwasher and someone else came along and put them in the cabinet without them being cleaned. There is really no excuse for this. Also, just dirt and dust bunnies in all of the corners. We checked in about 2:00 on a very cold January afternoon. The cabin was freezing and the electric fireplace heater in the living room is 95% worthless. It’s more of a bathroom heater. It was so cold that we went in to town and bought another heater and some blankets for the bedroom. By noon the next day (20 hrs later) it was warm enough to take off our jackets. So, they need to pre warm the cabin, get a bigger heater and supply some blankets for cold weather rentals. I wasn’t going to leave a review at all because I don’t like being critical, I just keep getting emails requesting that I leave a review. We’re likely to return, just in the summer time.

  We love staying in these cabins! We've stayed in this particular one twice and it is our very favorite. They're close to town so they're convenient, and right on the water to you can fish or just relax on the patio. The property is always clean and well maintained, the kitchen has dishes, silverware, and cookware, and the bathroom has plenty of towels. 10/10 would recommend!

  Overall, we were very pleased with this cabin stay! It is in a great location and has waterfront access too. A few things needed repair, such as a hole in the front drive (which i fell in) and the air unit in the living room. Some light bulbs needed to be replaced on the front porch and bedroom closet. But we would gladly stay here again! it was a great experience.

  My husband and I arrived on a Monday afternoon and stayed until Thursday morning. We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was supplied with more than everything that we needed. The view of the river from the cabin was perfect. We enjoyed sight seeing about town including the JFK dam, Sandy Beach and the JFK dam site recreation area. We ate at three local restaurants and enjoyed them all. We definitely look forward to our next visit.

  The river is not really accessible in front of the cabin but it is close. The floors of the cabin were dirty and the furniture was dusty. Everything else was good but generally not worth the price.
